Dr. John A. Millin joined Bennett & Bloom Eye Centers in 2014 as an anterior segment surgeon who specializes in cataract and refractive surgery, including LASIK. He received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of New Hampshire. His medical degree was earned at Boston University. Between college and medical school, Dr. Millin worked for two years as a full-time research technician at the Schepens Eye Research Institute in Boston, a world-class Harvard Medical School-affiliated eye research facility.
In addition, his remarkable training programs include Transitional Intern with Tucson Hospitals Medical Education Program; Ophthalmology Resident with Mayo Graduate School of Medicine; Fellow of Cornea and External Disease with Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Assistant in Ophthalmology with Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Millin has traveled extensively around the world as a volunteer cataract surgeon working with Surgical Eye Expeditions International. He has successfully performed cataract surgery on every continent in the world other than Antarctica!
Dr. Millin is a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Because of his commitment to excellence and the reputation he has developed, Dr. Millin has been honored by his peers by selecting him for inclusion in “Best Doctors in America.”
